Mr. Reade joined the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM) adjunct faculty in 1993. Since then, he has been involved in the development and instruction on the Computerized Collision Diagraming (CCD) course, Computerized Crime Scene Diagraming (CCSD) course, Advanced Computerized Collision Diagraming (ACCD) course, Pedestrian/Bicycle Crash Investigation course, as well as the Advanced Pedestrian/Bicycle Crash Investigation course.
Mike has developed specialty reconstruction software which includes: the CCD Traffic Symbols© for AutoSketch CAD, the PEDBIKE 2000 Plus© - Pedestrian / Bicycle Software, which includes the BACalc - Alcohol Conversion Software, as well as Reconstruction Applications for Android and iOS Smartphones.
After a 25-year career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Mike formed Forensic Reconstruction Specialists Inc. (FRSI) and he continues to lecture and train an International audience of law enforcement personnel, private consultants, consulting engineers, government officials and educators throughout North America.
Mike is actively involved in training, on-going crash research and the development of reconstruction techniques as it applies to Pedestrian and Bicycle Crash Reconstruction.
