Jeffrey Willis joined IPTM’s staff as an adjunct instructor in 2013. He has over 18 years sworn law enforcement experience with the Oregon State Police, and is currently a full-time, ACTAR accredited, collision reconstructionist in the department with the rank of Senior Trooper. His primary responsibilities include performing collision reconstructions, event data recorder (EDR) imaging and data analysis; and the training, mentoring, and technical oversight of other collision reconstructionists and technical collision investigators. In addition he has instructed crash investigation for the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training since 2008, and guest lectured at Portland State University since 2005.
Senior Trooper Willis is a graduate of Washington State University and holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering.
