William Nuzzi, has been employed by the Altamonte Springs Police Department since December 7, 1997 as a sworn law enforcement officer. He is currently assigned to the Altamonte Springs Police Department Criminal Investigation Section and has been assigned to the FDLE Cyber Crime Task Force since April 2013.
Bill has been assigned to the Criminal Investigations Bureau for a total of 12 years and has been the lead investigator on more than 1,400 cases to include adult and child homicide, child abuse, burglary, robbery, sexual battery, harmful material to minors, fraud, and cold case homicides. Besides being assigned to the Investigations Bureau, Bill served as a patrol officer for a total of 4 years and assigned to the Ready Response Team for two years. He has also received training in advance homicides investigations, street crimes and surveillance techniques, missing and abducted children investigations, deviant sexual behavior and related criminal activity, human trafficking investigations, high risk warrants entry, STOP, BDRE, and CPS. Bill has also served as the Altamonte Springs Police Department’s member of the Seminole County Infant Death Review Board.
