Chris Lutes is a sworn law enforcement officer with eleven years of experience in a midwest state police agency.
He started his career in the Motor Carrier Enforcement Division, serving four years in that capacity. During that time he obtained additional certification as a defensive tactics instructor and Drug Recognition Expert. He then transferred to the Traffic Enforcement Division where he worked for six years. During that time his responsibilities included the enforcement of motor vehicle law with an emphasis on impaired driving enforcement as well as traffic crash investigations.
In 2013 Chris completed the Intermediate, Advanced, Technical, and Traffic Crash Reconstruction trainings. In addition, he is a Bosch CDR analyst with experience using CDR data in successful criminal prosecution of negligent drivers causing traffic crashes.
Chris is a trainer for Trimble Forensics and is actively engaged in using the Trimble Forensics solutions to enhance the speed and quality of crash and crime scene investigations in the field.
