Anthony Lafferman Anthony Lafferman is the senior investigator with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, Seminole Financial Crimes Task Force. He has been in law enforcement for twenty-five (26) years starting his career in 1992 in the Florida Keys with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. As a Deputy Sheriff with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, he served as a Correctional Officer, Corrections Supervisor, Flight Officer, Disaster Response Team Member, and a Patrol Officer.
In 2000, he joined the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office where he served as a Deputy Sheriff, Field-Training Officer, Flight Officer, Internal Affairs Investigator, and a Criminal Investigator. He has been assigned to the Seminole Financial Crimes Task Force for the last 15 years where he has conducted numerous complex financial crime cases with Federal, state and local prosecutors. During this time, he received multiple Sheriff’s Office Commendations for excellence.
Anthony is currently a law enforcement instructor certified by the Criminal Justice Standards Training Commission (CJSTC) as well as an instructor for the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM) and for Daytona State College. He has taught various financial related classes for financial institutions, business leaders, and the Florida House on Capitol Hill. Anthony has been a member of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI) since 2003.
Anthony attended Youngstown State University in Ohio and Columbia College.
