Cancellations and Refunds
Classroom Courses
Complete the Cancellation Request Form and return it to IPTM. No telephone cancellations will be accepted.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date will incur a 25% administrative fee.
- Cancellations made less than 1 business day before the course start date will incur a 50% administrative fee.
- No refunds or credit will be given for no shows.
If IPTM must cancel a course for which tuition has been paid:
- Students will be notified via e-mail and offered the option to transfer their tuition or receive a full refund.
- Students must respond within 30 days of the cancellation notice or a refund will be forfeited.
Online Courses
Instructor Led and Hybrid Courses
Complete the Cancellation Request Form and return it to IPTM. No telephone cancellations will be accepted.
- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the course start date will incur a 25% administrative fee.
- Cancellations made less than 1 business day before the course start date will incur a 50% administrative fee.
In cases where materials have already been sent to the student in preparation for the course (textbooks, templates, etc.):
- The appropriate materials and shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount if the materials are not returned to IPTM in their original condition. Once IPTM has received and inspected the materials, the refund will be processed.
Independent Study Courses and Videos on Demand (VoDs)
- No refunds or substitutions can be made after registration.
Symposium Exhibitor Cancellation Policy
Complete the Cancellation Request Form and return it to IPTM. No telephone cancellations will be accepted.

A 25% administrative fee will be assessed to all refunds if the cancellation request is received more than 60 days prior to the Symposium start date.

No refunds or credit will be given for cancellations received less than 60 days prior to the Symposium start date or for no-shows.

Refunds will normally be processed in 6-8 weeks.
