Cameron Pucci
Director
Cameron Pucci has served as the director of IPTM since July 1, 2013. Ms. Pucci joined the IPTM staff in 1988, and had served as associate director since 2006. Ms. Pucci has been involved with all aspects of the planning and management of police training programs during her nearly 34 years of service. She has also served in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer involved in budgeting and costing of all programs and day-to-day operations of IPTM. Ms. Pucci is a graduate of the University of North Florida holding a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in corporate finance.

Associate Director
Mr. Donnie Barker began his career with IPTM as an Adjunct Instructor in 1995. He joined the fulltime IPTM staff in January 1999 as a Training Specialist and has now accumulated nearly 32 years of Public Safety training and service. He has conducted 650+ IPTM courses, training more than 10,000 students. Mr. Barker has traveled to 42 US states, Southern Europe, Asia, the South Pacific, and Middle East conducting IPTM training. He regularly represents IPTM as a Conference Speaker or IPTM Liaison at Highway Safety, Crash Reconstruction, and Criminal Investigation Conferences. On May 1, 2021 Mr. Barker assumed the role of Associate Director of IPTM, responsible for the management of all training programs and instructors for the Institute, as well as assisting the IPTM Director with day to day operations of the Institute and IPTM Staff.

Associate Director
Sharon Murchison returned to IPTM in March 2019. Ms. Murchison is responsible for IPTM’s grant section and the Institute’s three dozen grant projects and 15 grant employees. Her section includes the Florida Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL) program, Florida’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Program, the Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) Program, Statewide Occupant Protection and Impaired Driving efforts, and multiple traffic and crash training projects. Ms. Murchison plays an integral role in the design, development, and implementation of departmental processes and programs. She also represents the Institute on statewide highway safety coalitions.
Ms. Murchison began her career at IPTM in 1997 as the Institute’s Office Manager. She holds a Master’s degree from Webster University in Management and Leadership.

Assistant Director, Administration
Dan Orel joined IPTM as the claims assistant in September 2014 and was promoted to coordinator of administrative services in September 2018. In October of 2020, he became the Assistant Director of Administration. Dan oversees the Institute's business operations and IPTM Cop Shop operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida in business management.

Impaired Driving and Florida DRE Coordinator
Tim Cornelius joined the full-time staff at IPTM in February 2021 as the Impaired Driving Training Coordinator. He is responsible for coordinating all aspects of these programs and specialized training. He is the Florida Drug Evaluation and Classification Program (DRE) Coordinator and responsible for managing Florida’s 350 Drug Recognition Experts (DREs), DRE instructors, and scheduling DRE-related training.
Tim began his law enforcement career with the Collier County (FL) Sheriff's Office in 1992. His early experience serving his agency in both corrections and later as a patrol officer gave him a well-rounded initiation into a 26-year career. A passion for DUI enforcement led to a promotion to sergeant in the CCSO Impaired Driving Enforcement Section in 1999. Before his retirement in 2019, he supervised DUI enforcement deputies and specialized as an investigator and instructor.
Tim is a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), DRE Instructor, and a DRE course manager, and has conducted training for IPTM in these areas, as well as ARIDE and SFST for many years. He holds a Masters of Science in Management from Hodges University. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard in Florida and Indiana and retired in 2006 after 20 years' service.

Criminal Investigation and Crime Scene Forensics Coordinator
Detective John D. Cullen began his law enforcement career with the Jacksonville (FL) Sheriff's Office in 1994. After nearly a year in corrections, he was assigned to the patrol division, where he performed routine patrol, and participated in tactical deployments involving robbery, burglary, and traffic. He was assigned to the DUI Enforcement Unit in 2001, where he received several awards for “Outstanding Performance in DUI Enforcement.” Detective Cullen has been recognized as an Expert in numerous divisions of the 4th Judicial Circuit. Detective Cullen transferred to the Department of Investigations and Homeland Security in 2009, where he has served in Burglary, Robbery, and Homicide. He is currently assigned to the Integrity/Special Investigations Unit, which is responsible for investigating complex criminal investigations.
John has been an adjunct instructor with IPTM since 2005. He developed IPTM's online course, The New Detective, to share criminal investigation best practices to newly appointed detectives. His 20+ years of criminal investigations experience in the largest county in the U.S. will be an asset in our mission to train the next generation of law enforcement.

Leadership and Management Section Coordinator
Teresa R. Dioquino joined the IPTM staff in 1992 as an adjunct faculty member and became the coordinator of the Leadership and Management Section in 2013.
Ms. Dioquino retired at the rank of captain after 29 years of service with the Pinellas County Florida Sheriff's Office. Prior to her retirement, she commanded the Special Operations Division within the Patrol Operations Bureau, and was responsible for more than 300 assigned personnel and the fiscal management of a $14 million budget. She was previously assigned as the commander of the Criminal Investigations Division and the Inspections Bureau. Prior to her appointment to captain, she was assigned as a lieutenant in the Patrol Operations Bureau, Special Operations Division and shift commander for the Central District Station. As a sergeant, Ms. Dioquino supervised the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program and served in the Administrative Investigations Division.
Ms. Dioquino received an Associate of Arts degree in police administration from St. Petersburg College and a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology from the Florida State University. She is a certified Drug Recognition Expert and Instructor. Ms. Dioquino is an active member of the National Sheriffs Association, Florida Sheriff's Association and Drug Recognition Expert Section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

Central Florida Site Coordinator
Mr. Doyle joined the IPTM staff in December 2003. He served as a law enforcement officer in Florida for 36 years, until his retirement in November 2003. Five of those were with the Office of the State Attorney in Orlando and the remainder with the Maitland Police Department. His final fourteen years were as Maitland's Police Chief. Mr. Doyle is currently the Central Florida Site Coordinator. He is graduate of Rollins College, the FBI National Academy and the Florida Police Chief's Executive Institute. He is on the Board of Directors of the Florida Intelligence Unit and has represented the Florida Police Chief's Association on the Florida Police Standard and Training Commission.

Online Training Program Coordinator
Darrell Edmonds retired as a police officer with the Jacksonville (Florida) Sheriff’s Office after 23 years, where he served as a patrol officer, field-training officer, DUI Enforcement officer and a detective assigned as an investigator with the Traffic Homicide Unit. He is the coordinator of IPTM's Online Training programs. Mr. Edmonds is an instructor in the DRE (DECP), ARIDE and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing curriculums as well as the Digital Photography for Traffic Crash Investigators and At-Scene Traffic Crash/Traffic Homicide Investigation courses. He has qualified as a Florida State Criminal Justice certified instructor and holds an Associate of Science degree in criminal justice.

Traffic Crash Section Coordinator
Ken Harmon joined the IPTM Adjunct Staff in 1993, shortly thereafter he began to specialize in the Investigation of Pedestrian and Bicycle Crash training. In 2008 Ken assumed the role as coordinator of the Pedestrian and Bike Crash Investigation courses. Ken began his law enforcement career with the Tempe, Arizona, Police Department in 1979. His traffic experience as a Motor Officer included the investigation and reconstruction of serious injury and fatal traffic crashes. Ken served as the supervisor of the Vehicular Crimes Unit 2000-2006. He retired from the Tempe Police Department in 2009. Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Ottawa University.

Marketing Coordinator
Leshell Hartney returned to IPTM in 2017. She is responsible for the Institute’s marketing and communications efforts, including graphic design, social media, website, and e-communications. She began her career at IPTM in 1991 and served in a variety of areas before moving to the University of North Florida’s Division of Continuing Education in 1999. She spent most of those 17 years promoting the Division of Continuing Education’s training and consulting services.

Coordinator, Training Programs
Mr. James joined the IPTM staff in August 2001 as a training specialist for the Public Safety Institute in Altamonte Springs, Florida. In 2005, he re-located to the Jacksonville office where he currently serves as the off-site training coordinator. His responsibilities include scheduling and logistical support for contracted and off-site tuition courses.

Kelly Rupinta joined the IPTM team in June 2021 as an Accounts Payable/Receivable Associate and was promoted to Coordinator, IPTM Grant Operations in December 2021. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.

Angel Williams came to IPTM in July 2021 as a part-time OPS Office Assistant and was promoted to Coordinator, Highway Safety Programs in April 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.

Registrar
Mary Ankenbauer joined IPTM in 2019. Her primary responsibilities include processing student registrations and transfers, transcript requests, certificates, and invoicing. She maintains course and student records, and assists with answering telephone calls and providing customer service.

OPS Office Assistant
Linda retired August 31, 2019 after 25 years with IPTM. She returned to IPTM part-time in September of 2020. She works with the Drug & Alcohol Section, specifically the DRE Program and impaired driving training programs as she did in her 25 years with IPTM. Linda maintains budgets, processes invoices and grant claims.

Manager
Adam Harpstrite joined IPTM in April 2016. Since joining the team, he has worked in various administrative and technical areas of the Institute. Currently, Adam is responsible for facilitating communications and outreach activities as well as providing general support for the Institute’s grant programs. He is completing his degree in theatre and entertainment technology at Florida State College in Jacksonville.

Valerie Murphy joined the IPTM team in February 2023 as a part-time Marketing Assistant. She began her career at UNF in 2005 and retired as the Associate Director with the Division of Continuing Education in 2019. Valerie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Sabrina joined IPTM in April 2019. Her primary responsibility is to provide support for the Institute’s grant programs. This includes but not limited to reviewing and maintaining budgets and recording and processing invoices and claims. Sabrina earned an Associates in Arts degree from FSCJ.

Technical Support Specialist
Jennifer Rainer joined the IPTM team in March 2022 as an Office Assistant for the registration department. As well as assisted in the finance department and performed the duties of COP Shop in the building. She earned her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Valdosta State University (GA) and has worked on short film projects and film festivals throughout the Southeast region. Currently she is the Technical Support Specialist in the Online Training Department at IPTM. She assists the department with technical support help tickets, film shoots and editing.
