IPTM Welcomes Ken Harmon

IPTM is pleased to introduce Ken Harmon as the new training coordinator of our Crash Investigation programs. He will be responsible for classroom instruction, recruiting instructors, scheduling, and supporting the current subject matter experts. He will also be charged with developing new classroom and online courses in our ongoing effort to meet the generational needs of today's law enforcement professionals. Ken replaces longtime IPTM Crash Investigation coordinator, Russell Strickland, who recently retired.

Ken has been part of the IPTM family since 1993 and has coordinated the Pedestrian/Bicycle Crash Investigation programs since 2008.

Biography

Ken began his law enforcement career with the Tempe, Arizona, Police Department in 1979. His traffic experience as a Motor Officer included the investigation and reconstruction of serious injury and fatal traffic crashes. Ken served as the supervisor of the Vehicular Crimes Unit 2000-2006. He retired from the Tempe Police Department in 2009. Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Ottawa University.
